Description

Prefert Vaginal Gel is a sperm-friendly lubricant designed to help fertility by creating an environment where the sperm has an optimal chance of reaching the female egg. Studies show that an acidic pH level causes infertility in 20-25% of couples. During ovulation, the properties of the cervix and cervical mucus change. Prefert® Vaginal Gel works to create the same pH level (7.0 to 7.4) as the cervical mucus during fertility. This protects the sperm from an excessively acidic environment and ensures its survival to fertilize the egg, thus creating an optimal environment for natural conception.

Prefert Vaginal Gel is an ideal option to increase the chances of natural conception.

How it works?

The pH of a woman’s vagina is naturally 4 to 4.5. During the menstrual cycle, a woman’s pH level increases in acidity to avoid infection. In order for the sperm to fertilize the egg, it needs a slightly acidic, or neutral pH environment. If the pH level is too acidic, the sperm can become immobile and die. With a neutral pH value of 7.2, Prefert® Vaginal Gel binds to the vaginal walls and creates an optimal environment increasing the probability for natural conception.

How to use

The most effective time to use Prefert® Vaginal Gel is during the woman’s three most fertile days during ovulation. Prior to sexual intercourse, insert Prefert® Vaginal Gel into the vagina.

Use Prefert fertility friendly lubricant 5 minutes before sexual intercourse. Each tube is intended for a single use.

Remove gray cap off tube gently following washing your hands.

Press gently on the tube and insert its contents into the vagina.
Remove the tube.

You are now ready for sexual intercourse. For optimal results wait 5 minutes following inserting the gel and intercourse.
